If you please God, you can basically forget your enemies. This immediately gives you two options; spend all your life fighting against increasing enemies. Or forget your enemies and focus on pleasing God. I counsel you to choose the second option. Do you suppose Enoch, the one who walked with God and did not taste death, had no enemies? He must have had some since the devil was there right from the beginning. But God causes your enemies to be at peace with you if your ways please God, as we see in Proverbs 16.7.

Forget Not
Forget Not God’s Present Benefits. This lesson was once beautifully demonstrated by a young lady. You know how TV correspondents swarm you when you accomplish anything, right? Well, they were in her face when she came second in a global competition. How was she feeling that she did not come first? She looked straight into the camera and said she was still too busy enjoying her present position. Good for her! She chose to enjoy what she has achieved instead of setting it aside while she reached for higher goals. It is a lesson we need to learn
Making God A Liar
Do you receive instruction from God’s mouth or is it from your pastor’s lips? Do you lay up God’s words in your heart? Then when you decree a thing, God will say yes and establish it. There are many other conditions between verse 21 of Job 22 before we come to the decreeing part. Unless we fulfill those conditions, don’t pray about decreeing a thing. Stop making God a liar.
Harassing God
You do not yell at your friends and so if you consider yourself a friend of God, please don’t yell at Him when you pray. And don’t go on and on as though you would be heard for your many words. In short, stop harassing God.
The Undesirables
Failing to spend time with God before you start your day, whether you day starts at night or in the morning, will give rise to the undesirables of life. Once you get it right with God, you can rest assured that even if something untoward happens, God is working it out for your good. He is a good God to those who believe in Jesus, His Son.
