We have a winner! Congratulations to our sister who is known by her online name Bena Boat. She won the free prize that we offered a couple of weeks ago. Our actual anniversary is not until next month but we wanted to put all the plans in place. And why? It is because the celebration is continuous for us as believers. That is what James, the brother of Jesus was saying in James 1:9-10. Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation.
Your particular earthly situation does not affect your celebration. Does this mean you should seek to be poor? No. Does this mean you must strive to be rich? Again, no. It means that because your name is written in heaven, you celebrate, regardless of the size of your bank account or the state of your pantry. Habakkuk said it so well.
That wonderful prophet of God declared his preparedness to celebrate continually. Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines. Even if the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food. Though the flock may be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stall. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
It is a position with which all believers should identify. As believers, the celebration is continuous for us and if you cannot identify, check your Christianity. We don’t mean that as an insult but you do know that our mandate is to point everyone in the direction of Heaven. This is so that, at the Rapture, we shall not be left behind.
Praise God, We Have A New Blogger
Resulting from her winning, our sister now has a virtual pulpit on www.heavenreadiness.com. You can honor her by subscribing today, even before she starts posting. If everything goes according to plan, that should be before the end of June this year.
If you are a true believer like our sister who won the prize of the virtual pulpit, the celebration is continuous for us. She is a Jesus addict – the major qualification for winning the prize. I hope you are a Jesus addict yourself. In the coming weeks, she will receive inputs to make her an ace blogger, writing blogs that will do well on SEO – search engine optimization.
I cannot wait to hear from her. Can you? I know that as she writes the mind of God, the celebration is continuous for us. Amen? That said, you may be regretting that you did not win the chance to become a Heaven Readiness blogger.
You Can Still Apply Since Celebration Is Continuous For Us
If you truly believe you are a Jesus addict, you can send me a message privately and we can discuss possibilities. That is not to steal the thunder of our bona fide winner but to ensure that celebration is continuous for us. You may not start at the same time as our winner but we keep the possibility open. Let us hear from you.
Keep in mind, our responsibility is to preach the gospel by whatever means. This is one such means. Paul knew about such a constraint of love to preach in all circumstances. He declared that the love of Christ compels us because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died.
If we appreciate, like our winner does, that Jesus died for us, you know we should no longer live for ourselves. Our lives should be dedicated to the One who died for us and rose again. His name is Jesus. If you are not sure, you can invite Him into your life right where you are and He will come in.
A person in whom Christ lives becomes an ambassador for Him, representing Him everywhere we go. As His envoy, you plead with people to come into the Kingdom. I trust we are doing that everywhere even if not on this platform. As we vehemently and diligently represent Christ, He will empower us. Give it a try. You may soon become a Jesus addict.
As Jesus-Addicts, Celebration Is Continuous For Us
Our winner is a Jesus-addict, praise the Lord. I hope we have a few more on this platform. As she posts her blogs, please cheer her on. It is like the hymn writer said. If you cannot cross the ocean to take the gospel message to people far away, what about the sister on your platform?
If you cannot write about Jesus, perhaps because you are still a babe in the lord, can you encourage others? Barnabas did not write any epistle but he was an encourager to Paul. What will you do with our sister’s posts when they start? What will I do?
I know the answer to that question. Because the celebration is continuous for us, we shall cheer her on. Unless you are yet to know Jesus personally. If all you know is your Pastor’s Jesus, you may find it hard to be an encourager like Barnabas. Jealousy may even arise in your heart – what makes her so special?
Accepting Jesus into your life is the cure for all such jealousies. It is also the cure for lukewarmness. Start today to be zealous for Christ and celebration will be continuous for us, all of us. Keep in mind, God hates lukewarmness and promises to vomit all lukewarm believers. That shall not be our portion in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Maranatha!
