The Lord always knows what He Himself will do in all situations or challenges that we face. The unfortunate thing is that we make him our last resort instead of our first resort. The story of the multiplication of 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes is a remarkable one but what makes it more incredible is that Jesus Himself knew what he would do. The Lord Jesus knows what He will do, trust Him
In John 6:5-6, Jesus asked Philip where they could buy bread for the great multitude who had listened to Him. This, according to the Word of God, He did to test Philip, for He Himself knew what He would do. The Lord wants us to trust Him in any situation because He has the solution. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The Lord Jesus knows what He will do, trust Him.
The Almighty Is The All-Knowing God – Omniscient
This is similar to the story of Abraham and Isaac. When the Lord asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac, He did this to test him. The Lord Almighty knew what He would do but He wanted to know if Abraham would trust and obey Him. Abraham proved himself trustworthy. As he was about to sacrifice his only son, an angel appeared to him and showed him a ram to sacrifice to the Lord.
The Lord Himself knew what He would do by providing the ram for the sacrifice. He is indeed our provider. The Lord can be trusted and wants us to trust Him with all our hearts. When the Lord tells us to give, it is an opportunity and honor to prove Himself as the great provider. The Lord Jesus knows what He will do, trust Him
He Always Knows What To Do By Going Ahead of Us
It is mind-blowing to think the Lord would send Elijah to a widow to provide for him of all the people in Zarephath. I Kings 17:8-23Were there no rich people in that town? Once again the Lord knew exactly what He was doing. The Lord had commanded the widow to provide for Elijah. And as she provided for Elijah, she and her household never lacked and her son was also restored to life. He’s always ahead of any challenging circumstance. He knows the plans that He has for us. We have to always trust the Lord because He knows the end from the beginning. We may not know what the future holds but He always knows what He would do should we face anything that is contrary to His perfect plan for us.
The Lord Knows Our Needs
Jesus said we should seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the things we seek would be added. Our Father knows exactly what our needs are. He is the supplier of our every need. When we seek Him with all our hearts He will blow our minds with His wonders. It is so refreshing and peaceful to know that He’s got our backs. He has us covered. Philippians 4:6 is one of the most googled or sought-after verses. Because the Lord Jesus knows what great plans He has for us, He commands us not to worry. The word of God encourages us not to be afraid. We only need to hold our peace because the Almighty knows what He will do.
The Lord Has Us Covered
I have always wondered why the Lord Jesus waited till Lazarus died before going to Bethany. Because He knew what He would do He was not worried. He even said the sickness of Lazarus was not unto death John 11:4. He has control over every situation. As the bible says, as Jesus is so are we in this world, we also have control over situations contrary to the will and purpose of the Lord for our lives. The Spirit of Him who raised the Lord Jesus dwells in believers. We have the God kind of faith. Indeed the Lord Jesus knows what he will do. Put your confidence in the Lord and not man. This gives us boldness in the day of trouble and need, the Lord is our helper, therefore we will not fear. God’s got us, all things will work for our good.
Knowing and trusting that God has gone ahead of us makes us rest in Him. The Lord is indeed so awesome and amazing. Dare to believe in Him, He knows what He will do. Before we call Him, He will answer and while we are still speaking He will hear (Isaiah 65:24). We need not lose hope, give up, or be discouraged, He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end. Keep calm, the great I AM that I AM has got us. The Lord Jesus knows what He will do, trust Him. He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places and given unto us all things pertaining to life and godliness. It is therefore right to give Him thanks and praise always. Praise the LORD!!!
God bless you!
Beautifully written. The need to totally trust and depend on God. He certainly knows what He is about. May God increase my faith to wait upon the Lord and trust and obey. Amen
