We take a break from our regular conversation on God’s promises to address a question from one of our subscribers. My reading of the question is that it concerns the place of technology of the end of days. You may have seen it in an earlier post, and we also shared it on our Facebook page. Sadly, there was no response from either group. So, before other activities crowd it out, we now address it.
Here is the question, unedited: “Your blog is a treasure trove of inspiration, and it always leaves me reflecting on new ideas. I’d love to see you explore how these ideas might connect with innovative solutions, such as AI-driven creativity or blockchain applications. Your knack for uncovering patterns is truly impressive. Thank you for consistently providing such valuable perspectives—I’m excited to read more!”
First, we thank the subscriber who submitted the question, with the compliment therein. What would a blog be without subscribers? You make the work worthwhile. When we get to Heaven, please be sure to come by my mansion, and I will visit yours as well. Next, let me confess that although I have a glancing acquaintance with AI, I had to look up blockchain applications.
This is what I discovered. “In blockchain technology, each transaction is grouped into blocks, which are then linked together, forming a secure and transparent chain. This structure guarantees data integrity and provides a tamper-proof record, making blockchain ideal for applications like cryptocurrencies and supply chain management.” Forgive me if I do not attempt to decipher that!
Technology Of The End Could Be Scary
For the sake of our discussion, let us consider it part of the technology of the end. And, rightly so, because the creators of AI are starting to fear their handiwork. “What have we done?” It would not surprise me that the creator of the Frankenstein novel, fictional though it was, had similar fears. I do not sense such deep anxiety in the question under consideration now.
It seems to merely seek the mind of God on the technology of the end. This is, no doubt, a concern with which most of us identify; it brings a smile to my face because technology is not new. Imagine how the children of Israel regarded the chariots of Pharaoh. The Red Sea was in front of them, while the technology of the end (for that era) pursued them. Their hearts must have turned to water within them, a feeling that many, including believers, now have.
It reminds me of a nation where I once served in my career. By the time I arrived, the nationals had grown somewhat comfortable with the elevator, but it was not always so. In the past, they were scared of a ‘cage’ that opened to swallow their friends, and when the cage next opened on the ground floor, their friends had disappeared. Naturally, they refused to enter the box because they feared the technology of the end (for them). It may sound funny to you, but for those men and women, it was a real fear.
AI And Blockchains May Not Be The Ultimate
And that is the thing about technology. Until we use and start to understand it, it is scary. For people in a different era, the motor car was a mystery. It looked like the ultimate technology. Think of a flying machine. What? That seemed like the technology of the end times to them. I still cook rice in a saucepan, not because I am scared of the rice cooker that knows enough to go from cook to warm, but I am just old school.
The purpose of the foregoing is not to trivialize technology but to let you realize that we may not be at the end yet. I hope it gives you a measure of comfort. For the believer, there is even greater peace. Think of David and Goliath. Goliath’s armor was the ultimate technology of the end when he went to battle.
Take the time to read all about it in 1 Samuel 17:5-7; the technology of it will blow your mind. Meanwhile, what did poor David have? His faith in God. But faith trounced technology, did it not? And that is where our comfort comes from, faith in God. That is why Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.”
Believers And The Technology Of The End
Everybody believes in God; even demons believe there is one God. So, Jesus says, take the next step and believe in Him as the Son of God. Then, your hearts will not be troubled, even by the technology of the end.
When believers heard of the Scandinavian countries chipping people the way others chip their dogs, our hearts did not shake. The Bible mentions that particular technology of the end times. In those countries, there are buildings you cannot enter without the chip. Unless you are a believer, that news should scare you. Chipping people is the beginning of the end.
But it will not become widespread until after the Rapture. I believe God that none of us will miss the Rapture because the world will then be fully under the control of the devil. Then, if you refuse the chip, the mark of the beast, the devil will persecute you until he kills you. That is the quintessential technology of the end. Until then, keep up your faith in Jesus, and you will escape it all.

Thank you. You have the answer in this post. If you are a believer in Jesus, He says to you in John 14.1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. The rapture is coming, Be ready
Thanks Ebun for sharing “The Technology of the end”. It’s really mind-boggling.
AI, as we understand it is the most important technology in the world today with its benefits and challenges. A commentator said that its a double-edged sword that can be deployed for both good and evil. And that if care is not taken it may lead to the end of human civilisation and race. As you rightly said its only our faith in God that can protect us because the world is evil.
