The other day, a Washington State girl sued the state because she is like one of those kindergarten adults in the church. She graduated with a 3.5 grade point average, which is not bad, but she could not read. Do not ask me how she understood the lawsuit her lawyer prepared for her. But because hers is not a unique situation, I believe the story. The reason is that the scenario is quite common in both the school system and, more especially, in religious circles.
And that is where we come in on our journey to our Promised Land, also known as Heaven. Do you belong to a religious organization that pushes you up without training you to read and understand the word of your new Father? Sadly, this is not a modern trend. Some such people, kindergarten adults, appeared before God and stated their qualifications, hoping to gain entrance into Heaven thereby.
These people had prophesied in the name of the Lord, even casting out devils from demon-possessed people. There were several other wonderful works that they had done in the name of God, but none of that mattered because they were kindergarten adults. And to such people, God will say at the end, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” They graduated but could not make it into Heaven, just as that poor girl graduated but could not get into any college.
How Do Kindergarten Adults Come About?
Kindergarten adults are made the same way that the young lady graduated without being able to read. Just as she enrolled in the wrong school, these religious dullards joined the wrong religious organization. We cannot overemphasize this: please be careful while considering which church to join. You most certainly don’t want to spend your years serving, praying, only to hear at the end, “I never knew you: depart from me, you workers of iniquity.”
Please note that, by referring to them as workers, God acknowledges that these kindergarten adults worked. Similarly, you may be very active in your church but still miss Heaven. Do not forget that the promise of a final arrival in God’s Presence is the greatest of all of God’s promises. Jesus highlights the importance of a safe and secure arrival in Heaven by asking a question. “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”
This is a question that nobody in a church that produces kindergarten adults will ever ask. And, if you mistakenly join such a church and ask that sort of question, they will quickly show you the door. The leaders of such a church do not wish to rattle their members with talk of Heaven. “Just be happy,” they tell them. It is the same thing the school said to that poor girl until the end, when she realized her teachers had done her harm. She sued, but sadly, in the spirit realm, there is no chance for a lawsuit or an appeal. It will be too late.
The Prayers That Breed Kindergarten Adults
The Bible clearly describes churches that produce kindergarten adults, but you must read your Bible to identify them. Sorry about that, but you have to read your Bible; there is no getting around that! In a past post, we saw one way to identify a faulty church. The leaders take a verse like Isaiah 1.19 which says, “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land,” and turn it on its head.
Adult and mature Christians know that the prayer point in that verse is that God would help us to be readily obedient to our Father. But the churches that produce kindergarten adults will pray that God should help them to eat the good of the land. Ha! And the kindergartners love that, even when they have to pray throughout the night. What a pity. The Bible says they have itching ears, and their pastors are happy to help them scratch their ears.
All believers desire to know God, and some may even want the power of Christ’s resurrection, as in Philippians 3.10. Mature believers know that verse, “that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” Unless they are conformed to Jesus’ death, they cannot experience power. It does not matter how hard they shout and how long they pray. There are many other examples in which you claim the promise without asking for help with the trigger or condition.
Mature Christians
Mature Christians know to pray the entire verse, like the Apostle Paul, who said he died daily. But kindergarten adults want the power without the dying. They remain children, and they also love to claim how to overcome by the blood of the Lamb. Such people leave out the part about not loving their lives unto the death. In Revelation 12.11, we see this: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Would you be ready, like Daniel and the other three Hebrew boys in Babylon, to die for your faith?
Then, and only then, are you ready to overcome the devil. You do not overcome when you want to keep your life and yell at God in a night vigil. Please note that prayer is essential, but it comes after obedience. Jesus obeyed His father by coming to earth. All His prayers were therefore acceptable to God. But kindergarten adults do it upside down, praying without obeying. Little wonder they have to pray for so long.
Sadly for the leaders of those churches, their members remain immature, and children tend to wander, like sheep. So, when there is a special program, the church will be full, especially if there is eating on the agenda. On the next Sunday, the leaders will find they are alone in the church. That is the effect of raising kindergarten adults, children in the marketplace, as in Luke 7.32. Please choose wisely. There is no chance for a lawsuit at the gate of Heaven
Maranatha!
